Nelson is a Portland native with deep roots in the Pacific Northwest and a genuine commitment to the region's continued growth and development. With over six years of commercial real estate experience, he has built a distinguished career specializing in investment sales across industrial and multifamily assets. Prior to joining NAI Elliott, Nelson served as a Senior Partner at a Portland-based commercial real estate firm, where he advised institutional and private clients on complex acquisitions and dispositions, consistently executing sophisticated transactions across diverse asset types.

His expertise spans underwriting, market analysis, and deal structuring designed to maximize value for every client. Nelson brings a relationship-driven approach to each engagement, combining deep market insight with the ability to identify opportunities that align with both short-term objectives and long-term investment strategies. At NAI Elliott, he focuses on investment sales with a primary concentration in industrial and multifamily properties throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Nelson holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon and a graduate degree from Portland State University. Outside of work, he stays active with his three children, regularly attending sports events and school activities while enjoying time outdoors with the family's two dachshunds.
