We are pleased to announce that Ash Mitchell, Chief of Staff, has been selected to bring the company’s work and her leadership of our equity and inclusion efforts to the leadership of the NAI Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council. From sharing how we structured our financial support and volunteer work with Taking Ownership PDX to the research-based underpinnings of NAI Elliott’s training program, Ash brings tremendous value to this national effort. Local and national efforts of this sort in the commercial real estate industry have the potential to make a profound difference in building more equitable and inclusive communities across the country.
NAI Elliott believes in the three-fold value of creating and nurturing an equitable and inclusive company: it’s the right thing to do, it improves our performance for clients, and it improves the bottom line. After years of a general commitment to this effort, we have formalized our endeavors by developing a systematic equity & inclusion training program that launched across our staff and brokers in early 2022.
