How we’re helping landlords plan for the future

For the past 8 months, landlords have had to adapt and innovate just as quickly as their tenants. Now we are taking a broad look at how our tenants are adjusting to their new normal and using that information to help building owners plan for the next 1-5 years. Our president, Jordan Elliott, offers his insight on how we’re helping our landlords plan for the future.

We are taking a thorough look at how the businesses in our client’s portfolios have performed. The majority of landlords that made changes to their tenant’s lease in light of the pandemic, chose to defer rent. And as we move forward into the next year, we’re looking at how tenants adapted or innovated their business in this new environment and how that may suggest their success going forward. We are also pulling from our company knowledge of what’s happening with over 1,500 tenants in 6 states. With this expertise, we are able to provide a larger picture of the current commercial real estate environment to our clients and advise them on how to use that information to plan for the future.
