Asset management is built on relationships

Goals change throughout the years. Whether your immediate plans have been derailed this year or you are in it for the long haul, consider where you want to go and if your current portfolio will take you there. At NAI Elliott, we start by establishing strong relationships with building owners so we can understand their mindset. Once we know what their real goals are, we can advise them on how to get there.

If its generational family needs, a development mind set or someone that’s ready to move onto the next thing, our aim is to help our clients meet their objectives. As asset managers we work with building owners to help them understand their options. Considering all angles whether its’ to buy or sell a building, what a good tenant mix is for a property, if the budgets looks right or if the cash flow is what they want. Through a strong relationship with our clients, we can help assess if the property or asset type is going to get them to their goals in the near future or 10 years from now.

By taking a realistic look at tenants and tenant mix, we can create a sustainable balance for the building. Looking at emerging tenant types or different uses for the asset can help an owner decide if this is a long-term hold or a disposition situation so we’re all working toward the same goal.
