Vision & Values: Relationships mean more than business transactions

Our vision and values guide our day-to-day actions as a company. It goes beyond contracts and business transactions, our aim is a genuine relationship with our clients. They are more than a name or a building, they are often part of our community. We shop at the same grocery store and see each other at Blazers games. Having a connection helps us better understand and accomplish a client’s goals. NAI Elliott real estate asset manager Mike Larkin explains why connecting with our clients and having their trust is paramount to how we do business.

One of the statements in our company manifesto that embodies how we build this trust and connection with our clients is “Relationships mean more than business transactions.” For the most part, these clients are families with generational commercial real estate holdings. They have goals for themselves, their children and their grandchildren. We want to honor and understand where they are coming from. It’s our goal to have our interactions feel less transactional and more personal. We want to know them and through knowing them, help them best meet their goals for their assets.
